Natural Plant Medicine is decriminalized in Colorado are legal for “sharing” of psilocybin as pertaining to Proposition 122. Keep in mind, it is still illegal at the federal level.

Although significant healing is possible through plant medicine experiences, it is not therapy, but can be used in a therapeutic setting with a trained therapist. There are resources available for psychedelic-assisted therapy of many kinds. If you choose to partake in shared plant medicine, this will not be therapy, nor will anyone be conducting therapy with you. We highly recommend that you connect with a therapist should you need additional support integrating and processing.
Experiences with psilocybin can help with depression, anxiety, sleep, emotional stability, and perspective, among other benefits (see FAQ on research below).
Each experience is going to be unique to you and will be heavily influenced by your intentions and your inner wisdom. Although there are many benefits to psychedelics mentally and emotionally, the plant medicine will help give you access to what you are supposed to learn and grow through from your specific journey.

1. If you happen to be on anxiety medicine, it will inhibit the effects of the mushrooms. If you desire to get a genuine experience, please abstain from anti-anxiety (SSRIs) for 5 weeks prior to ingestion if you feel safe being off of them.
2. Please do not consume alcohol prior to ingestion, either on the day of ingestion or the evening before. If alcohol is in your bloodstream when you ingest it, it will amplify the effects and can create a disjointed experience.
3. Please hydrate before, during, and after. Psilocybin mushrooms are dehydrating and cause discomfort.
4. If you are ingesting and are not acclimated to high altitude, please consider waiting for this experience until you get acclimated.
5. Nausea is a common side effect. It helps to eat light an hour before ingestion.
6. Capsules will give slower release.
7. Blending with lemon juice will activate effects within 20 minutes, sometimes sooner.
8. Aim to get good sleep the night before.
9. Please prepare a meal, drink, and snack prior to ingesting so it’s ready to go when you need it. It will be difficult to prepare food during your experience.
10. Outdoors can provide wonderful connections and wisdom. Bring all the layers so you have the freedom to do what your body and spirit are calling you to do
11. Find a place that is away from the public to have your experience.
12. Eye masks will force you to go inward and deal with what is internal (good/bad/indifferent).
13. Please have an intention going into your experience. This will help dictate and guide your trip and your learnings. The wisdom is within, so ask whatever you want to from your own wisdom.
14. Please also go into the experience trusting that the plant medicine will be medicine in some way. Whatever shows up, trust that is what is needed for you at this time.
15. Please stay open-minded to the experience, let what is simply be there
16. If you encounter something fearful, don’t resist. The resistance is what can create panic and paranoia…essentially a bad trip.
17. I advise you to have a journal in case you want to remember details.
18. Make sure you are completely done tripping before driving.
19. To have ongoing benefits from your experience, continually reflect on what you experienced, what you learned, and how these lessons could be applied in your normal state day to day. Maybe process with a therapist or trusted confidant.

Because psilocybin and psychedelics are back on the map for research just within the last 10 years, there is still so much to learn. What has been reported, however are:
Nausea and sometimes vomiting while the plant medicine is in your system (up to 8 hours). This is not true for everyone and sometimes the nausea is fleeting.
Capsule ingestion can help with a slow release to help mitigate nausea
If you are on an SSRI, this can numb the effects of plant medicine. It’s recommended you be off of antidepressants for at least 5 weeks before ingesting mushrooms if your doctor approves.
Those with severe mental disorders should not ingest psilocybin due to lack of research and some cases have shown mental disorders can become more severe after psychedelics.
If the plant medicine takes you to some dark trauma that is in need of healing, this can be a scary experience for some people. This is why a facilitator is important so you can have someone to be your guide back to safety within your body and your breath.
We also recommend you have a therapist to process your plant medicine experience with.
We ensure you leave in a stable and regulated state, regardless of how long that takes.

Although the research on psychedelics and plant medicine is relatively young due to their classification as a schedule 1 drug for so many decades, there are many studies that have shown psychedelics can significantly improve stress and trauma symptoms. Psilocybin has been declassified as a schedule 1 drug and is decriminalized in the state of Colorado.
The Research:
Quieting the Default Mode Network and aiding in proplasticity of the brain
Psilocybin for symptoms of trauma and stress:
