Meet Rachel, your journey guide

I am living into my purpose when I am able to help people connect with their own ability to heal. We all have the capability to heal ourselves with our own inner wisdom and innate abilities. However, sometimes life bruises us and we cover up, suppress or neglect the parts of us that long to have a platform to show up for us. When I am able to support people through yoga, breath, meditation, somatics, and plant medicine so they can access those parts of themselves, it is the most honoring and humbling experience for me. Besides being with my children, there is nothing more I desire for my purpose here on earth.

I’ve been working with trauma survivors since 2015 and since 2019, I’ve been learning and exploring the benefits of plant medicine. With my own experiences and being with others as they journey through their healing path on plant medicine, I pursued a certificate in Somatic Psychedelic Facilitation in hopes to share plant medicine responsibly. With an academic education in Sociology and Psychology, and a fascination in Neuroscience which has led to numerous trainings around trauma and how it’s held in the body, plant medicine became the next right step for me to take in my career. It’s my deepest desire to be a safe place for people to use plant medicine as a doorway to come back to themselves and remember their own ability to heal.

Hear what others have to say

  • Rachel has a way of helping my body and brain take my life's complicated parts and embody “keep it simple.” My first practice with her will forever be a special place in my heart, body, and brain ... she took us on a story-telling journey as we moved our bodies, and our only job as participants was to inhale “I AM” and exhale “ENOUGH.” Over and over. Simple, uncomplicated. Of course, I've heard that phrase lots, but to FEEL it ... that's where the magic is. Rachel does that for me every single time I'm in her presence.

  • Rachel is always open, warm, and welcoming. She leads from her heart and teaches with grace.

    Katie Andreasen

  • Rachel met with me prior to undergoing major surgery. While I thought I knew what I needed and wanted, Rachel focused on the whole of me, not just the parts I picked out here and there. As great as that was, what meant the most to me was being loved and cared for by this beautiful woman when I was vulnerable and didn't even know it. Rachel is my personal irreverent angel who I love so much.

  • When I started doing yoga with Rachel, my body and mind was in survival mode. I was willing to try anything to recover from health trauma. Four years later, this was the best decision I made.

My body can move in ways it couldn’t move before and my mind has found peace. I even found a community I had no idea I needed. Rachel is the best, a peaceful warrior!

  • Rachel is one of my favorite instructors I've ever had! Her genuine and welcoming nature and warm personality have put me at ease and made me feel so comfortable since the first class I took with her. The mantras and stories that she uses in class always seem to be exactly what I need. I appreciate the time that I've gotten to spend with her in class and look forward to practicing more with her!

  • Rachel has a presence and light that I find soothing and inspirational. When I’m with her, especially when practicing yoga, I feel safe and more connected to not only her, but myself and my surroundings. She brings out a light in me that I tend to push down with all the stressors of life and she helps me remember what is most important.

  • Rachel is deeply connected to the mind, body, spirit triad and facilitates beautiful and enlightening lessons throughout her work as an instructor. In healthy, safe, trauma-sensitive ways, Rachel uses her own vulnerability and experience to encourage her students to be curious, tune into their own needs, and become their best selves.

    Carrie Koos

  • Rachel is a skilled trauma-informed instructor adept at creating a safe and supportive environment for her students. Her classes are infused with empowering themes that foster a sense of strength and mindfulness throughout the practice. I always walk away from her classes and workshops feeling more empowered and present.
